If you are planning a career in education, you have already taken courses that cover the topics in the Praxis™ Test. Our materials enhance the learning that occurred when you took these courses. Our complete set of 11 modules contain over 800 practice problems and their soltions (not just the answer)! They do not attempt to teach a calculus course or linear algebra course. Rather, the materials will allow you to focus on important sections of each course and practice problems related to them. They will allow you to isolate your weaknesses and then strengthen them.

What is available?

You may order individual modules if you are interested in focusing on a particular area of mathematics. There are 11 modules available and each module contains information for one content area. You can also order the entire set for a discounted price. (Over 50% less than the price of the modules sold separately!) Finally, there is a full 50-question exam available with solutions.

What is contained in each module?

Our materials provide SOLUTIONS to every practice problem, not just the answers! These solutions can help you learn techniques in the areas where you need to improve. They also provide tips on using a calculator and other useful information pertinent to each specific module.

Each module contains:

a summary of the skills that are covered within that subject area.
a summary of the TI-83+ keystrokes that will help you solve problems within that module.
the basic formulas and techniques are summarized within each skill area.
a series of problems that reinforce the skill area.
solutions (not just answers) for each problem!

How many practice problems can I expect?

Most other review materials provide one or two problems to solve, leaving the student with little idea whether he or she understands the material. The number of problems you will receive within each module are substantial and are roughly proportional to the emphasis that the particular subject area is given in the Praxis™ Test. Also, each problem is solved for you at the end of the module.

In what format will I receive the modules?

The Practice4Math review materials are available in PDF format and are downloaded directly to your computer. This is the most economical means of providing you with the practice problems. They are also available in printed form for a higher price to cover our printing costs. (The printed set of practice problems is over 280 pages for all 11 modules.) Finally, a complete set of the modules is available on CD if you are interested in the full set but do not want to attempt to download each of the modules individually (particularly helpful for people who have a slower internet connection).

The 50-question multiple-choice sample exam with solutions costs $25 - in electronic format downloadable over the internet.
Finally, any of the above items may be ordered in printed version (pages printed on both sides and 3-hole punched) at a cost of $35 which covers printing and shipping costs. (Shipping is only available to destinations that are in the United States of America.)

You can order all eleven modules for a price of $99.99 - in electronic format downloadable over the internet.
If you prefer the entire package in written form (pages printed on both sides and 3-hole punched), the price is $124.99.
